Data Sources

Primary sources

Sources can include an organization’s official website, official-domain communications, public corporate and regulatory registries, certification-body records, trade-association materials, and evidence submitted during an ownership claim.

Source hierarchy

For identity and operational claims, we favor current authoritative records over aggregators. Conflicting information is either withheld, qualified, or routed for manual review. A source URL may establish where a statement came from; it does not make the statement permanently current.

Updates and removals

Material changes to a public profile update its record date. Inactive, rejected, removed, or unapproved records are excluded from the sitemap. Source access and retention follow applicable privacy, contractual and legal requirements.

For a correction, ownership issue, commercial disclosure question, or safety concern, use the contact page and identify the profile URL and supporting evidence.
